My prayer as I await the coming of the Pentecost
John 14:18-20 I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you. In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me; because I live, you also will live. On that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
Lord, Jesus, Son of the Father, though I have not seen You, I know that You live. I know that because You died, that I too might live. know that the Father has not left me abandoned or alone, for You have told me and One has come as a Spirit to dwell inside of me. That Spirit has opened my eyes to what others may not see. That Spirit has anointed my ears to hear what others may not hear and anointed my lips to say what others may not say. You have come to me not as a stranger but as one who has loved me and guided me and strengthened me. With You I am beneficiary of the Father’s will. With You I am graced of the Holy Spirit and with You I shall live forever. May I continue to be worthy of such promises. May I live to honor the wishes of the Father, You the Son, and the Holy Spirit., that lives in me Amen.
May each of you find joy in knowing that you are not alone today, for God has sent His Spirit to live in You as He lives in You!

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. —Psalm 139:23–24
